With its active involvement in the research and development of future technologies, Alpiq supports "Hyb-a", ETH/EPFZ’s latest racing car prototype with a rechargeable hybrid electric engine. This racing car - which can be found at the e'mobile stand at the International Motor Show - has a promising, even unrivalled level of energy efficiency. Over a distance of 50 km, the car’s CO2 emissions in particular are 40% lower than a vehicle with a conventional engine.
An active promoter of rechargeable electric vehicles, Alpiq is also sponsor of Lampo, the plug-in electric sportscar premiered by Protoscar on the e'mobile stand.
For the second year in a row, Alpiq will be part of the International Motor Show’s IAMF (International Advanced Mobility Forum). As key-note speaker, Philippe Méan, R& D Director of Alpiq, will present Alpiq’s vision of the penetration of rechargeable electric vehicles in Switzerland between now and 2020.
